Join us in the beautiful candlelit setting of Benhall Church on the 28th October 2023 for a concert with the incredible Sam Kelly, a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning singer, song-writer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
As a young child Sam spent many a night enraptured, listening to his Irish grandfather tell folk tales, sing folk songs, and play folk tunes on his melodeon. Having caught the bug, Sam has dedicated his life to rediscovering and renewing the sounds of his gaelic heritage, and creating exciting new music that transcends the boundaries of traditional and popular music.
A Norfolk boy and a favourite from Folkeast festival, many of you will have seen him performing with his band Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys. Sam's amusing on-stage quips will have you smiling from ear to ear.
Free refreshments, donated by the team at Benhall St Mary's Church will be available during the interval. No bar on site, but feel free to BYO.
