DIRECTING FOR FILM & TELEVISION WITH WILLIAM MCGREGOR - Exploring the fundamentals of filmmaking from script to screen, William will discuss his career in writing and directing, offering tips and advice to next-gen filmmakers.

McGregor?s debut film was the BIFA-nominated and BAFTA-Cymru-award-winning folk horror Gwen for the BFI and Film Wales. He is currently writing an East Anglian set rural thriller Gun Dog, also with the BFI, and Blood Sugar a vampire film for Netflix, executive produced by The Batman director Matt Reeves. McGregor began directing in television at only 22 years of age on the BAFTA-award-winning drama Misfits, before going on to direct further BAFTA-award-winning shows including Poldark and His Dark Materials. Most recently McGregor directed 3 episodes of the No 1 Netflix hit Lockwood & Co for Edgar Wright?s Complete Fiction.

Workshop for ages: 16-25.
