An evening of punk, folk punk and folk folk punk, all delivered from the small and perfectly formed confines of The Pipeline.
MUDDY SUMMERS AND THE DIRTY FIELD WHORES
All grrrl feistyfolkpunkpopswing outfit from the UK, bringing catchy rhythms, urgent poetry and beautiful harmonies.
An unsuitably melodic, and often foot stomping, foundation from which to fire out an unapologetic big two-fingered salute to patriarchy, monarchy, ?normality?, arbitrary inequality and to every ?ism? and ?ist? you could care to list, often with a big dollop of humour thrown on top for good measure.
?Spiky, political, funny and punk in the CLEVER sense of the term!? ? Attila the Stockbroker
?Beautiful, quirky and humorous lyrics about life?s little challenges in a must-see live show.? ? Andrew Marston, BBC Introducing
?I love your band? ? Mark Thomas
?Absolutely marvellous!? ? Dunstan Bruce, ex-Chumbawamba on new album Seeing Seeds
POG
Brighton based folk punk outfit who'll be playing, unusually, as a full band. A mixture of Sarah Records' summer-touched indie and Mortarhate Records' fury, Pog is sort of like an anarcho Belle and Sebastian.
THE DAFFODILDOS
Street punk fronted by the wonderful Emily Flea, The Daffodildos are a glorious burst of queer joy and anger.
Entry £7, doors open at 8pm
