Time to dance off those mince pies...

That's right, we're back for a Boxing Day special!

The Colne Valley Funk & Soul Club returns to it's spiritual home at the Marsden Royal British Legion, for a festive knees up of Dance Floor Soul, Glitterball Disco and Fatback Funk.

We last gathered for a proper soul shaking club night in October 2016, which seems like a lifetime ago - so there's plenty of catching up to do.
Since then Ollie moved to Oz, while Lennie became a marathon runner and continued to fly the F&SC flag.

We honestly can't wait to catch up with the regulars who made the past events such a success and welcome new faces to the dance floor. Speaking of Dance floors - On the night we'll be shipping in a crystal clear heavyweight sound system, light show and a few extra surprises to keep the festive vibes rolling until 2am.

As always there'll be a reet good mix of records, handpicked and mixed from the lads' deep vinyl collections.
From Northern Soul & Motown to Funk & Disco, as well as versions of the classics that you won't hear anywhere else.

- Capacity will be restricted to ensure everyone has room to dance as well as relax in the bar room.
- Drinks are working mens club prices and there will be special offers on the night.
- Marsden train station is a stones throw from the venue, providing easy access from both Huddersfield and t'other side o'tunnel. We'll also be working with local taxi firms to ensure everyone can get home safely.
- Record requests are more than welcome and can be posted on the Facebook events page.

We pride ourselves on being a safe, inclusive and fun event to attend.
Friends are to be made, songs are to be sang.
Tomfoolery and bad attitudes should be left at home.

This is an 18+ event, I.D will be required on entry.
