MHSG member and professional landlord James Tanner will show a virtual tour of an Edwardian house in Dukes Avenue completely retrofitted for energy efficiency, while retaining the character with all original features. Works include internal and underfloor insultation, draughtproofing, solar PV panels. Followed by Q&A with James and domestic refurbishment contractor Dominic Snow.
Dominic specifies insulation strategies and renewable energy systems for mostly domestic dwellings, but also public buildings. Since 2014 he has given an annual lecture on internal and external wall construction and other sustainable construction and retrofit technologies.
The virtual tour and questions will be from 7.30 to 8.30, and there will then be refreshments with a chance for further questions.
