Any of you lucky enough to catch Benjin?s ?Post-Classical Assembly? performance in Bristol earlier in the year will know what a treat is in store tonight. Benjin is a London-based multi-instrumentalist, who specialises in the beguiling ?nyckelharpa? ? the Swedish ?keyed fiddle? with four melody strings and twelve sympathetic strings. It?s a gorgeous, evocative sound, and Benjin uses it to weave magical sonic journeys (encompassing bits of Bach, folk tunes, original songs and evocative improvisations).
