Mouses are back. They released their first new music in 7 years in August and are gearing up to release their long awaited second album in Spring 2024. They?re also writing this so will probably get confused between they and we too many times to count.
The last time we played Teesside was a year and a half ago. The last time we played Middlesbrough was even longer than that!
This is an intimate, rare Mouses Teesside show at the wonderful Toft House - the self-proclaimed home of unpopular music. It?s going to be special.
We?re not good at writing about ourselves so here?s what some kind people have said?
?The band are famed for their jaw-dropping and energetic performances, seeing Mouses live is nothing short of breath-taking.? - Louder Than War
?The band offer a one of a kind, intimate and purely joyful gig experience I haven?t found in any other band thus far.? - NE Volume
?...both exhausting and thrilling to watch in equal measure.? - NARC Magazine
?The duo were literally insane... Everyone was smiling because they knew they'd witnessed something phenomenal.? - Nexus Music Blog
?I wouldn't mind if it was music, but this is just shit.? - man at gig
We?ll be bringing some of our favourite bands along for the ride. The wonderfully queer joycore of the brilliant Kkett and the off-kilter garage rock of the amazing Maeve and The Trains.
In association with Art Mouse Promotions and Butterfly Effect.
