Night River Presents: Seamus Fogarty

We?re very happy to be welcoming Irish alt-folk alchemist Seamus Fogarty to our series of magically intimate micro concerts at HydeAway.

Emerging out into the world with a debut album ?God Damn You Mountain?, released via cult Scottish label Fence Records in 2012, since then Seamus has released two more LPs on Domino Records, the 3rd, ?A Bag of Eyes? at the end of 2020 which followed on from the success of 2017?s ?The Curious Hand?, an album that was widely praised for its fresh approach to folk music and traditional instrumentation.

Expect a live show that dips into numerous genres from krautrock to traditional balladry and everything in between, old songs and new, mixing conventional instrumentation with found sounds, all fronted by Fogarty?s plaintive vocal and songwriting.

Don't miss your chance to see this fantastic songwriter up close and personal in the most intimate of venues in Frome. It's going to be a very special night.
