A long awaited return for Roger Davies whose quirky self-penned songs and affable attitude were a big hit with us last time he played the club in 2015. He?s since continued to hone his painting and musical skills and continues to be recognised as a highly talented artist and one of the most exciting singer-songwriters to emerge from the Yorkshire folk scene in many years.
A gentle Yorkshire humour, subtly woven into several of his self-penned songs ensure that the audience are treated to an all-round entertaining evening of humour, music and song.
Roger has opened for names such as Cara Dillon, Alex Lloyd, Harvey Andrews the poet laureate Simon Armitage and John Tamms among many others.
His albums have been released to a flurry of good reviews
He?s a thoroughly professional, endearing and engaging live performer.
