Description

Returning to The Crypt after his sold out show at the start of the year, guitar prodigy and Crypt favourite, Artie Zaitz, leads a group of London's most grooving, swinging musicians in a new quartet. Features Ross Stanley on Hammond Organ, Dave Pattman on conga, & Steve Brown on drums. They will be presenting original music by him as well as members of The Banger Factory label.

Coming from a family of musicians, Artie was exposed to the sounds of jazz from an early age. He developed a particular interest in recordings from the Blue Note label which has had a profound influence on material currently performed with his groups.

Artie has been working and recording on the London and international scene for over a decade with artists such as Moses Boyd, The Banger Factory, Camilla George, Maisha, Theon Cross, Jordan Rakei and Tom Waters Electric People to name a few.
