Glas-Goes Pop and Mono Proudly Present... a Hogmanay Happening!
In a very special and rare solo performance, Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake headlines this year's Hogmanay party at the legendary Mono Cafe! Jetstream Pony will be venturing up from London to bring their poptastic good vibes to the proceedings, while Glasgow's own Homework will kick off the party with their slack-tacular indie rock stylings!
Playing all the best indie and indie-friendly party hits will be Chris Geddes from Belle and Sebastian and Glas-Goes Pop resident DJ Robert Winning, also from long-running club night, Simply Thrilled.
We can think of no better way to welcome 2024!
Mono is an exciting bar, restaurant and music venue proudly serving drinks and home cooked dishes, all free of meat, fish and dairy products.
Mono is renowned for it's relaxing atmosphere and much loved inbuilt record store, Monorail Music.
Our fresh, made to order, home cooked menu is free of all animal produce and is therefore suitable for vegetarians, vegans and any discerning palate. We have a large range of local and international craft beers and lagers, great wines and soft drinks, including many organic options. Our gantry has a wide range of spirits with a focus on gin, rum, bourbon and whiskey. Craft beer heroes Williams Brothers brew our own lemonades using our in-house microbrewery. Our coffee is an ethical blend designed and roasted for us in Glasgow by Dear Green Coffee Roasters.
Mono opened in 2002, furnishing Glasgow with a unique and versatile space in which to eat, drink and discover new music. Over our first decade, we developed a reputation for good beer, good vegan food, good gigs and good times. We are proud of our achievements but we aim to make our second decade even better.
