We welcome one the UK?s most revered and accomplished guitarists to St Andrews for the first time; Jim Mullen. With a distinctive Wes Montgomery style, Jim plays with the thumb rather than a plectrum, creating softer tone and beautiful improvised lines. Throughout the 1980s, he found critical notice as joint leader of the British jazz funk band Morrissey?Mullen. Zoe Francis is a jazz singer whose move to London saw her work with Gareth Williams, Stan Sulzmann, and Jim Mullen. Zoe?s albums ?Remembering Blossom Dearie? and ?Blue Town? have won critical acclaim.
The band is joined by London based bass player, Steve Watts, local drummer, Joe Edwards and trumpeter Chris Coull.
