On Saturday 27th January 2024,
7:30pm - 11:30pm we'll be staging a 60s 70s and 80s disco at a lovely licensed hall, the Sarisbury Green Community Centre, The Green, Sarisbury Green, Southampton SO31 7AA.
Entry £5.
Fancy dress; optional but very much encouraged?'???? - wouldn't it be great to see Elton John, David Bowie, Adam Ant, Suzie Quattro and Debbie Harry queueing up at the bar for another round of Babycham, Cinzano and lemonade, a pint of mild and a cheeky bitter snakebite?.
On that note the bar is much cheaper than the local pubs???
A fun night of musical nostalgia taking us all back to the days of our youth, remembering our weekly jaunts to nightclubs as we peered through the smokey air watching the "talent" busting their moves on the dancefloor!
I'll be playing all genres through the decades from the 60s to the 80s in accordance to the response I've had from the multiple posts recently sent out so there'll be something for everyone of all ages.....
Pop, Glam Rock, Soul, New Romantic, Motown, Ska, New Wave, Disco - everything uptempo to dance to and not one slow song! Continuous play with no interruptions ?
