A seagull manages to escape from an oil slick, only to lay one last egg and with her dying breath ask Zorba, a harbour cat in Hamburg, to promise that he will hatch the egg and teach the chick to fly! How on earth will Zorba manage it? But nothing is impossible when you have good friends, wise enough help you discover your true self at just the right moment, and so? learn to fly.

Pericles Theatre Company?s own adaptation of ?The story of a seagull and of the cat who taught it to fly? by Chilean-born writer Luis SepĂșlveda.

Directed by Vasile Nedelcu ? with original music and songs by David Brett (a founder member of The Flying Pickets) and costumes by Anca Albani ? Pericles Theatre Company bring this heartwarming story to life with their special mix of accessibility, diversity and rough theatre.
