"A London boy in Ukraine" 11:30, Director: Oliver Freeston-Wilkes
?Last year, myself and my presenter took a week out of University to travel to the frontline of the Ukraine/Russia war. We aimed to produce a documentary which could act as a bridge between our peer
groups (who we felt had very limited understanding of the war) and the Ukrainian people being most affected by the conflict.
"A human with a stool" 13:00, Director - Yaroslav Ihor Popov
A group of travellers set off on a journey to bring a stool from an ordinary Kyiv kitchen to Cape Horn and place it on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. The initiator of the journey Leonid Kanter, his wife Diana and their daughter Magdalena, coming back home, the travellers are caught up in the onset of war.
"National Museum" 15:00 Director: Andrei Zagdansky
?Museum? is a portrait of the National Art Museum of Ukraine, the grey neoclassical building that stores,
preserves and exhibits Ukrainian art and Ukrainian history.
The narrative arc of the film goes from the Ukrainian Baroque to the avant-garde and echoes both the story of art and the history of Ukraine.
