We?re very excited to announce that Here Comes The Weekend is returning to Woking FC for a special two-day event celebrating Woking?s favourite sons The Jam!
Doors open 12pm
We are honoured to have in conversation during the afternoon, The Jam?s drummer, Rick Buckler! Rick will be talking about the heady days of the rise of the band from local Woking haunts to Number 1?s, touring the world and in-depth chat about the recording of some of the key moments in The Jam?s career.
Also they?ll be a panel discussing the impact of The Jam with award winning author Daniel Rachel (Walls Come Tumbling Down, Too Much Too Young, Cool Britannia), award winning documentary director Bob Smeaton (About The Young Idea ? The Story of The Jam, The Beatles Anthology, Classic Albums), author Ian Snowball (Thick As Thieves, Sounds From The Studio) and Nicky Weller who lived and breathed every day of it, as Paul's sister.
We have music in the evening from teenage sensations The Molotovs

DJ's Richie and Sonny are on hand to play Soul, Reggae, Ska and alternative bangers throughout the day
There are both indoor and outdoor bars, food vans, outdoor seating, free parking and free overnight secure parking for scooters and motorbikes.
