Bella Gaffney writes folk inspired songs which she performs along with her own original arrangements of traditional pieces. 2023 saw the release of ?Reflections?, showcasing her exceptional guitar, banjo, and vocals. The album is inspired by connections made over the lockdown period. ?Blood in the Earth?, a duet with Leesa Gentz (Hussy Hicks), was released in this year to great acclaim along with airplay on BBC radio 2. The 2016 Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Award winner, Bella is also part of sought after folk band The Magpies.

Dan?s duo partner Emily Lawler hails from Suffolk. Performing with Dan for nearly five years, she brings beautiful harmonies and some of the very finest fiddle playing. She lead the Suffolk Youth Orchestra, plays in the U.K. line up of Lachlan Bryan?s Wildes. Emily?s also a fine guitarist, writer and singer in her own right winning praise across the U.K. including from Alison Moyet.
