?The original idea behind this show was based on the extreme journeys that I wanted to take in order to find an antidote to living a frazzled life. Along the way I wanted to find meaning, peace, happiness ? the stuff we?re all chasing. However, after some transcendent experiences, I ended up in a mental institution.

Obviously, I didn?t find what I was looking for.?

Description

Stroud Subscription Rooms is the leading venue in the Stroud District. Presenting a wide range of performances and events including music and gigs of all genres, theatre, comedy, dance and spoken word. We also hold a number of community based events such as The Stroud Book Festival, Stroud Wassail, Christmas Goodwill and offer classes & workshops and a range of exhibitions throughout the year.

The venue is also available to hire for performances and events, conferences and corporate events as well as private parties and wedding receptions.

Here are the Subscription Rooms we are home to Mr Twitchett's Coffee house and bar. The café is open Monday-Saturday: 10am-3.30pm serving a range of Jacket Potatoes, Toasties and Sandwiches and snacks for you to enjoy.
