For over 30 years Hewerdine has been considered one of the UK's finest singer-songwriters. As lead singer of seminal band, The Bible through to his subsequent solo work and long-time collaboration with the incredible Eddi Reader, he is in demand as a writer, producer and performer.

A hugely well-respected songwriter who, from his first album in 1986, ?Walking The Ghost Back Home? to 2022?s ?Understudy?, his thirteenth solo release, has consistently written well crafted, thoughtful lyrics and melodies as well as collaborating with the likes of k.d. lang, Kris Drever, Chris Difford, Kathryn Williams, Eddi Reader and, most recently, Kim Richey and Lady Nade
