A world premier here at the Grove Folk Club! As they say in these parts we are well chuffed to be welcoming Laiken. WE hope to be back in the Grove Inn (Under renovation after a fire) but if not we will be at the New Headingly club.
Laiken is a collaboration between Folk singer and harpist, Rachael Sutcliffe, (someone well known to the Grove), and Folk, Jazz, singer and composer Kari Nergaard Bleivik.
Exploring the stories and landscapes of the North - Kari and Rachael will take you through Northern England, Scotland and Scandinavia retelling old stories in their own unique style.
This is going to be an exciting and innovative concert.
