Hold on to your seats in anticipation as we eagerly await the next fantastic event at Warrington Blues Club. We again have two great bands to present to you.
The Shade Tree Mechanics are an exciting blues trio led by Rob Poole who has been gigging since he was fifteen. A master of blues guitar, Rob has played in a number of bands previously and fronts the Shadetree Mechanics along with Bob Berg on drums and Roger Fawcett on bass.
Blue Dog Hooch formed in 2017 after a chance meeting. Tony was between gigs and Ant, whilst on guitar for The Stumble, fancied another project. The rest of the band were recruited and their music developed from experimental and standard R&B tunes, being slowly replaced by more complex and powerfully soulful blues rock. The band line up is Ant on guitar and backing vocals(several guitars) Tony on Sax, Jon on Bass, Mick lead vocals and Pete on Drums. Between them a big full sound is produced and they?ve been smashing it across Lancashire and Greater Manchester, appearing at the Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues Festival, The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival and Wirral Blues Club as well as many music venues where they enjoy a loyal following.
With a well stocked bar including a good selection of wines and real ales, the Blues Club is increasing its popularity and a friendly and enjoyable evening awaits.
Subject to availability, tickets also £10 cash/contactless on the door.
If you love Blues music this will be a night to remember.
