Description

PETE'S DRAGON - A kind woodcarver delights local children with stories of a mysterious dragon that lives deep in the woods. His daughter Grace believes these are just tall tales, until she meets Pete, a 10-year-old orphan who says he lives in the woods with a ?giant?! With the help from a young girl named Natalie, Grace sets out to investigate if this fantastic claim can be true. This live-action remake of the 1977 children?s classic is an emotional and adventurous tale of loss, independence and the bonds of friendship. Cert: PG / FREE ENTRY WITH FOOD BANK ITEM.

This screening is part of the Cinemagic initiative 'Young Audiences Supporting Food Banks'. The event is supported by Film Hub NI and the BFI FAN Film Exhibition Fund, awarding funds from National Lottery.

Causeway Food Bank is part of a nationwide network of food banks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Rather than paying for a regular ticket to gain entry to the Cinemagic film screening, audiences are asked to donate an essential item / food item on the day needed by the Food Bank to support the local community.
