A Comedy Night presented by Autistic Nottingham in association with Ingenious Fools is coming on the 27th of January.

The master of ceremonies for the event is Mark Nicholas, an Autistic stand-up actor and comedian, lead panellist for Blue Badge Bunch, a critically acclaimed disabled-led game show funded by Arts Council England, and co-host of Disabled Cants, a stand-up compilation show which received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023. Mark also runs and hosts the award-winning community comedy night Laugh-Able

Mark Nicholas said: ?I'm very much looking forward to hosting this fantastic event, which'll showcase the best and most up-and-coming autistic talent on the comedy scene, in particular our headline act, who Comedy Central UK recently described as ?A Master of Musical Comedy? Friz Frizzle!?

The upcoming comedy night was inspired by Autistic Nottingham?s staff seeing Mark perform in Nottingham at a solo show.
Steph Hubble, Autistic Nottingham?s head of social, said: ?After seeing Mark at his solo show ?Autistically Trained?, I was excited for our charity to collaborate with him and bring another show to Nottingham. I am really looking forward to seeing him again later this month and can?t wait to watch the line-up he has prepared!?

There will be six comedians all together, with the lineup being:

? Daniel Royles
? Nicky Vere Compton
? Ishi Khan

The event will run from 6pm to 9pm at the Carousel Community Building. It will cost £5 via online booking in advance or £7.50 on the door.
