Sorry, This Event is in the past!
Unfortunately, Black Umfolosi have just been advised that their entry visas to the country have been delayed so they are having to reschedule their Wednesday 13th June show to Saturday 15th June. We apologise for the short notice regarding this, and any inconvenience that this may cause, but unfortunately it is beyond our control.
If you are able to attend on the new date, then no action needs to be taken as your current ticket will be valid for the Saturday 15th June show.
If you are unable to attend then you should have received an email from WeGotTickets advising you of the new date and asking if you wish to receive a full refund.
Meantime, please accept our sincerest apologies.
Black Umfolosi is an award winning acapella singing and traditional dance group that was formed in 1982 by students who wanted to develop themselves and contribute to their communities in a meaningful way. The main reason for this initiative was to preserve and revive the Imbube Culture.
With a beauty and enthusiasm that is unrivalled, their performances are energy driven and completely engaging, mixing a great gentleness of spirit and song with an exuberance in dance. Their trademark harmonies mixed with intricate rhythms, clicking and clapping are highlighted during their brilliantly choreographed shows with a full range of movements from subtle to vibrant stomping and leaping!
The group have become firm favourites around the world with people of all ages and cultures, due to their natural ability to communicate passion and feeling in their shows.
