A double bill from two truly remarkable artists.
Fairhazel is the moniker of 26 year old musician Hugh Macdonald. Hugh grew up in South Africa, France and the UK, and currently resides on the road, hopping around to wherever calls. Hugh produces, mixes and masters all of his own music from his portable studio, as well as does all of the graphic design for his album art and social media.
Some recent highlights of Fairhazel?s are playing a sold out show at the Troubadour, being booked three years consecutively as a headliner for the Counting Crows? festival, Underwater Sunshine, landing several recent songs on Spotify?s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, Fresh Finds IE and UK, All New Indie and Hot New Bands, headlining a Jam in The Van show and opening for Dizzy on their UK tour.
Indie singer and songwriter Your Friend Juniper is an active performer and producer. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MFJ co-founded a music collective and venue space in Los Angeles while recording, producing and releasing original music. Influenced by powerful artists like Regina Spektor and Barbara Streisand, Juniper writes and performs evocative music inspired by activism. In 2022, Your Friend Juniper released a debut album ?On The Death Of A Philosopher,? which is an accumulation of songs written during the pandemic years. Juniper is self-taught on guitar and piano and sings in a wide variety of genres thanks to a background in musical theatre and classical singing and training in contemporary music with Berklee's world-class teachers and community.
