Description

The incredibly talented Julian Jones returns to the Courtyard Cafe this time playing solo with guitar and piano, including a couple of duets with special guest Ciaran Boyle (see biog below) on the Bodhran (this is an Irish drum played mainly in Irish folk music situations). He will also sing and play a couple of solos. Ciaran is a master of this instrument who Julian has known for many years.

Ciaran Boyle is a master Bodhran player and a singer/writer in the Irish Tradition.
He comes from Irish parents who were both singers and musicians.
Now resident in Maltby, he is perhaps best known for his work with bands such as ?Last Nights Fun? and ?Napper, Le Faux and Boyle? and latterly for solo work and with old friend Ray Hearne.
