On Thursday 15th February the word 'legendary' can be rightfully banded around as we not only welcome legendary Rockpile tribute band Billy Bremner's Rockfiles to JJJ, but they are also joined by the legend himself Steve Gibbons and up-and-coming legend in the making, Welsh wizard of the Telecaster James Oliver!!
Rockfiles features a great line-up that have have played together in different bands for over 25 years featuring Billy Bremner (Guitar/Vocals), Micke Finell; (Bass/Vocals - from the Dave Edmunds Band, The Refreshments), Ingemar Rogefeldt (Guitar - from Swedens Rock´n´Roll mega star ? Jerry Williams/Pugh Rogefeldt & Rainrock) and Peder Sundahl (Drums/Vocals - from Swedens Rock´n´Roll mega star ? Jerry Williams & Roadwork).
The band play the very best of Rockpile - pure, high energy, guitar-based Rock´n´Roll at its best and we guarantee that those of you who may not be instantly familiar with the name 'Rockpile' will be familiar with many of their tracks that were, for contractual reasons, often released under the name of one of their members such as Dave Edmunds or Nick Lowe: Girls Talk and Cruel to Be Kind being prime examples, respectively.
As if that wasn't enough, special guests Steve Gibbons and James Oliver will be hitting the stage during the evening!
