Classic blues rockers Metropolitan Nash make a welcome return to Joe Joe Jims on Saturday 17th February.
The Black Country-based band (featuring Andy Lowe - guitar , Simon Woodall - vocals/guitar. Tony Hill - bass and Gavin Davies - drums) "pick covers that we individually love and put our Blues rock stamp on them & had a hiatus up until two years ago when in true Blues Brothers style we put the band back on the road".
The boys perform an electric orientated set, with a couple of acoustic numbers, covering a range of tracks from their influences such as Zeppelin, the Black Crowes, The James gang, plenty of Free and a bit of Little Feat and "for the southern rock fans we do some Marshall Tucker and the Allman Brothers".
It all sounds good to us and we're looking forward to welcoming them back to JJJ for great evening of live music.
