7-piece jazz outfit The Jitter Kings? residency will showcase some of London?s finest young jazz singers.
This time it?s the turn of the incredible James Hudson
Drawing on inspiration from the likes of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald to Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman, The Jitter Kings will be playing jazz music from the Swing Era and Dixieland.
British vocalist James Hudson has all of the unique qualities that epitomise the 21st century jazz singer. An assured and charming performer, with an effortless voice that can communicate the nuances of a melody and lyric with great confidence.
James has an immense adoration for the timeless jazz standards of The Great American Songbook and is one of the many young jazz musicians carrying the mantle to ensure these songs continue to live on. This fascination for interpreting and singing standards is seen on his debut album 'TOMORROW' which was released in 2021 to widespread critical acclaim - gaining exceptional reviews, international media coverage and air-time across national radio stations.
