With Basin Street Jazz & Blues we get three bands for the price of one ? a French Jazz Quartet, a Blues Band and an unconventional Jazz Band. It?s unusual for a band to cover so many stylistic bases, and they do just that - brilliantly! They excel in their French influenced material, making a particular feature of french accordion played by Brian Lightowler, a touch of Sidney Bechet from Mike Dale on clarinet (plus sax & flute), expertly driven rhythm from Adrian Sherwood on electric double bass, and silky satin vocals from chanteuse Jules Scott (pictured).

Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Ends at approx. 10pm.
Tickets £10 in advance/£12 on the door. (Also available from the gallery in person or by phone during opening hours.)
