A sweet Sunday night of "3 chords and the truth" with the brilliant French duo at Jamboree - simple songs about love, booze and despair, crazy tempo bluegrass tunes, murder ballads and waltzes, cajun and calypso!
10 years ago in a valley of the French Alps, Flo & Junior (AKA Les Frères Bandini) met around some moonshine shots and a Louvin Brothers record. Since then they've been committed to mining the unfathomable depths of the American countryside music, brilliantly bringing it to life in their live sets, sometimes (when the moonshine flows) alongside full-throated cajun songs and groovy calypsos tunes! After touring intensively in France and a quick tour of the U.S, they arrive to spread the good word at Jamboree!
Jamboree is a grass-roots world music venue and bar hosting Folk, Blues, Americana, Celtic, Mediterranean, Eastern, European, GypsyPunk and Old Time Jazz!
Jamboree is back with a POP-UP adventure in a different venue in Limehouse from December 1st!
