march is the project of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kitty O'Neal. Over the years her story-telling has evolved into a unique pool of sound, transcending the borders between contemporary folk, alt and indie music. march cut her teeth as a solo artist on the Southampton/south UK coast music scene before relocating to London, and has toured around the UK, including multiple slots at Glastonbury and Sofar Sounds. As heard on BBC Radio 6, Folk Radio UK and Amazing Radio USA.

"After two EPs, two crowdfunded albums, 10 years of gigs all over the place, collab-ing with some of the finest humans, I have started my dream project of self-recording/producing a collection of songs from home. Written over the course of 2023 from a basement flat in London, and since moving to another house down the road, I've been continuing to work on these tunes from my bedroom. It's been important from the start that these songs were recorded from the cosy intimate spaces they were written in, and I am soOO0 excited about how they are sounding.

The vibe is intimate/organic/demo-like/lo-fi-bedroom-folk-pop (?) and I need to raise £££ to get the tunes mastered as well as covering some other release costs like creating merch and vinyl!!"

"Over the last decade I've been touring and performing across venues and festivals around the UK and beyond. I successfully crowdfunded £3k for my debut album All of the Above, and last year I released EP Greens and Blues which was recorded in the summer with my very talented composer/producer friend Dan Keen. Both these releases have had some proper love from places like BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing and Folk Radio UK, as well as taking me to places like Glastonbury, Sofar Sounds, and some amazing venues across the UK. I have also been funded by Help Musicians UK's Do it Differently fund, the ICMPAccelerator Fund and have supported artists including Rae Morris, Rozi Plain, and Fiona Bevan. "

I also want to raise the funds to get merch created (I want CD and vinyl) - I asked the wonderful Chris Riddell (The Edge Chronicles, Phoebe Bridgers) to create some artwork for these songs and OH LORD they are beautiful - I would love to turn them into physical pieces of merch that people at gigs can take home.
