Description

Christian Gutfleisch is one of the top jazz pianists from Germany but resident in Basel (Italy) for the last thirty years. He is very active in Switzerland and Germany as a respected composer and bandleader.

Renato D?Aiello has become known as one of the strongest and most original saxophone sounds around. His treatments of jazz standards, and originals, both live and on CD, have won great admiration from audiences and the press. Renato studied with masters such as Sal Nistico, Tony Scott, Steve Grossman and Joe Henderson. He has played with Art Farmer, Sal Nistico, and Steve Grossman.

This is an exciting reunion for Renato and Christian after twenty-five years!

Completing this fabulous band are Alfonso Vitale on drums and Lorenzo Morabito on bass, both regular members of Renato?s bands. Expect highly energetic and fine jazz with a few originals from Renato and Christian.
