It?s Poetry Night! Join us for a night of poetry, featuring a diverse array of local poets alongside the breath-taking talent of Welsh born Gypsy poet, writer & playwright Raine Geoghegan.
Raine Geoghegan, M.A. is a Welsh born Gypsy poet, writer and playwright living in the UK. She is a Forward Prize, twice Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee. Her work has been published internationally both online and in print. Her three pamphlets are published with Hedgehog Press. Her essay ?It?s Hopping Time? is published in the anthology ?Gifts of Gravity & Light? with Hodder & Stoughton.
She has performed at Ledbury Poetry Festival; Chichester Festival; Over the Edge in Galway and more. Her first full collection, ?The Talking Stick: O Pookering Kosh? is published with Salmon Poetry Press. She teaches ?Performance Skills? and is the founder of ?Writing as Sanctuary?, a writing and personal development programme.
