North West comedy legend DARREN McCAY presents his first ever hour long stand up comedy special... 'YE CANNY MAKE ME.'
He has been a mainstay of the North West scene, one of the hosts of 'The Funny Mucks Podcast'. a regular at Brickwork's Laughs@TheLoft and 'Laugh Tracks' comedy and has recently performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Hit Water Comedy Club in Liverpool.
The Chicken Box comedy club's resident comedy laureate picks up all the scraps of paper and doodlings that he has found that make up his life. From the world before Translink, to the never ending weirdness of the world of translink. He's looked at the world of the supernatural, bus related crime scenes, the dangers of having a lucky pencil and drunken Christmas miracles. We can't wait to see what he has in store for us this time!
Support on the night will come in the form a special live recording of 'The Funny Mucks Podcast' hosted by Darren and Brickwork's regular MC Peter E Davidson, complete with some very special guests from the world of North West comedy.
