Description

'Women Sing Women' is a celebration of women's voices through songs written by women.

Nine singers from Buxton join forces to mark International Women's Day in a fully acoustic fundraising gig for Crossroads Derbyshire. Original songs by the singers themselves alongside covers by writers including Carole King, Joni Mitchell, June Carter, Kirsty MacColl, Kate Rusby, Nina Simone and The Staves.

Proceeds will go to the Glossop-based charity, Crossroads, which offers a range of confidential support and advisory services to women, men, children and young people suffering the damaging effects of domestic abuse across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.

Tickets are £5 with an optional door collection for anyone who would like to give more.
Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
