Description
The English/ Norwegian super group Hex A.D. brings their epic new show to the UK for a string of dates in November and December of 2024.
With members from Dio, Jon Lord?s band, Paul Di?Anno, Blaze Bayley, Ripper Owens?s solo band and Bernie Marsden among others, it is safe to say that this band is a force of hard rock power, and with a string of six critically acclaimed albums under their own name as well, it is no secret that these guys mean business.
Hex A.D. represents a fresh take on the classic heavy rock sound, and was labelled ?The new Black Sabbath? by Sweden Rock Magazine after the release of the 2021 album ?Funeral Tango for Gods and Men?. A record that was voted album of the month in October 2021 by Norway?s biggest metal magazine Scream Magazine. Notable contributions by TNT virtuoso Ronni LeTekrö and the band?s fifth member Rowan Robertson, known for his stint with Dio in the early ?90s, helped cement this album?s bombastic sound.
2023 saw the release of the band?s sixth album, a double concept album dealing with war crimes, human rights and genocide. The album was quickly hailed as a stunning piece of work by the European hard rock press, and as a result, the band has set up a massive production to be performed in theatres in Scandinavia from May through September 2024.
The audiences can expect an overload of mighty riffs, ripping Hammond runs, powerhouse drumming and atmospheric musical landscapes inspired by the progressive masters from the ?70s.
Hex A.D. featuring Rowan Robertson will include songs by Black Sabbath, Dio and Iron Maiden as well as songs from their own rich catalogue.
