'The Wonder of Stevie' honors the lifetime brilliance of Stevie Wonder, featuring the captivating vocalist Noel McCalla, the acclaimed saxophonist Derek Nash, and a group of exceptional musicians playing an extensive collection of classic hits. This performance is sure to captivate anyone who appreciates great music.
Noel McCalla, known for his remarkable tenure with the Morrisey Mullen Band, has been hailed as "one of Britain's best Soul Singers" by Blues and Soul Magazine. For over 19 years, Noel's soul-stirring vocals were showcased with the legendary Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Derek Nash, a member of Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra since 2004 and part of the Ronnie Scott's Blues Explosion, has garnered multiple British Jazz Awards. He leads Sax Appeal, his Acoustic Quartet, and the funk band Protect the Beat.
Derek has shared the stage, recorded, and appeared on TV with renowned artists like Gregory Porter, Chaka Khan, David Sanborn, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Amy Winehouse, and many others.
Described as 'Breathtaking' by the Sunday Times, this performance promises an unforgettable musical experience for all.
