Delighted that Ariel Posen will be returning to play in Ashington, Northumberland on his 2024 Autumn UK Tour. Music lovers (guitar player's and aficionado's in particular) will be well aware of Ariel by now. Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, he is an outstanding singer, songwriter and exceptional guitarist of the very highest order who has rightly attracted real attention.

Ariel Posen's music occupies the space between genres. It's a rootsy sound that nods to his influences ? heartland rock & roll, electrified Americana, blue-eyed soul, R&B, Beatles-inspired pop ? while still moving forward, pushing him into territory that's uniquely his own.

Along his musical journey Ariel has received standing ovations not only from his ever growing audiences, but also from outlets like Rolling Stone Magazine , who dubbed him "a modern-day guitar hero". Music Radar listed him as a fan-voted top 10 rock guitarist of the year and the Western Canadian Music Awards nominated him for Breakout Artist of the Year in 2020 and 2021, as well as Rock Artist of the Year and Recording of the Year in 2022.

Looking forward to hearing live tunes from Ariel's excellent 2023 album "Reasons Why" as well as classic tracks from the great earlier albums "Headway" and "How Long". Ariel is an engaging live performer and no doubt his soulful slide work, open tunings and improvisational guitar approach will again be on full display.
