Emilija Karaliute is a professional classical/folk musician, started learning the kankl?s (the Lithuanian National instrument) in Lithuania before moving to the UK and has been awarded the title of the National Laureate of Lithuania twice.
Emilija's performances are characterized by skillful integration of the traditional folk instrument, the kankl?s, into diverse genres, including classical, pop, and folk music.
Roary Skaista is a queer folk musician based in Oxford, performing traditional folk songs as well as their own material on the themes of love, nature and diversity.
Tamise (Tamara, Barney, Kitty, and Silas) is a new quartet emerging out of the National Youth Folk Ensemble, created by EFDSS. They play traditional folk music with their unique set of instruments: two fiddles, guitar, recorder, and cello.
