In this half-day workshop, Green Man Gallery Resident Artist Geoff Chilton shows several methods to free up your landscape painting.
Using sketches and photos, he demonstrates from start to finish how to incorporate different media on top of oil and acrylic paint to create loose and dynamic paintings.
Learn how to use tone to add drama, abrasive media to draw into your picture, and powerful 'gestural' marks to give intensity and emotion. Free up your work and take a broader view of your whole way of painting.
Materials: Some abrasive materials will be provided but please bring your own acrylic paints, brushes and palette. A small notebook or sketchpad may be useful too.
Saturday 30th March 2024 from 12pm to 3.30pm
Cost £50
