Do you have to be a little bit psychotic to write crime? How many murders have you plotted? Just how dark is your imagination?
We?ll get into these and other questions when we bring together three best-selling crime writers for a ?Writers on Writing? event with BA Paris, Sophie Hannah and Simon Toyne. Discussion will follow the lifecycle of writing a novel: from ideas to 1st draft, editing, covers and blurbs, publication. The session will include an interval to allow some less formal discussion, mingling and preparation for a second stage Q&A.

She won the UK National Book Awards Crime Novel of the Year prize in 2013, and the Dagger in the Library Award in 2023. She is the author of the new series of Hercule Poirot continuation novels, commissioned by Agatha Christie's family.
