MASIBA (London)
MASIBA are a melting pot of genres with a combined love for ethereal textures, ambient sounds and haunting melodies. Hailing from London, this five-piece band brings together individuals with diverse musical backgrounds. Drawing inspiration from the influential trip- hop scene in Bristol, reminiscent of acts like Massive Attack and Portishead, as well as the dreamy landscapes of Californian indie music, akin to bands like Warpaint, MASIBA skilfully balances tight grooves with eerie melodies. This eclectic group are crafting a sound that whispers of nostalgia while simultaneously creating something fresh and new.

CHARLIE HANNAH (Margate)
Prolific Margate based songwriter Charlie Hannah is the pioneer of two new micro-genres - ?Domestica? (songs about housework, hobbies and the human condition) and ?Rock ?n? Scroll? (downtempo headphone meditations on the technological age to accompany scrolling) - he explored the latter on his most recent album - ?Thames Estuary Blue?. With a 5 album back catalogue as a solo artist, Charlie is the founder of record label Toothpaste Worldwide, through which he releases his own records and those of his other projects - Itchy Teeth and Starfish Men. More recently, Toothpaste Worldwide has branched out into launching other artists including California based garage pop project Hallo Haus and Thanet local ambient musician/gardener Rosie Carr. Charlie is known for his catchy singalong choruses, gallows humour and disarming honesty. He is currently working on his 6th solo album which is due for release later in the year.
