Making a welcome return to Boisdale, we are delighted to welcome Vanessa Haynes for what promises to be a truly unforgettable tribute to the Queen Of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
Haynes cut her teeth working as a backing vocalist for Van Morrison and Chaka Khan before stepping into the spotlight to become lead singer of British funk legends, Incognito.
Alongside her superb band, she will be performing a parade of unforgettable Aretha classics that goes from Chain Of Fools and Respect all the way through to I Say A Little Prayer and (You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman. With her deep gospely tones, it?s easy to hear why the Evening Standard recently dubbed her a ?soulful powerhouse.?
