Katie Nicholas is an americana and folk singer-songwriter from Liverpool. Leaving home at 18 to become an apprentice designer in London, she quickly found herself distracted and producing music videos for her songs and sharing them online. She soon captured the attention of music fans and industry folk alike with her intricate cross-picking, witty lyricism and enigmatic presence on stage.

Restless with her time and dreams, she independently released her first album ?Dizzy?, featuring award-winning track ?Chemistry? which led to chart placements and many exciting opportunities. In 2018 Katie went on to record at Abbey Road Studio, Blackbird Studio in Nashville and was featured on Whispering Bob Harris?s Showcase in Douglas Corner, TN.

In 2023 Katie released her latest EP ?Feather?. Considered her most profound work, Feather EP is a collection of songs that touch on all realms of human fragility. Recorded and performed alongside Anna Corcoran (keys) and Isabella Baker (violin), these songs were celebrated with a sold-out headline show at the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room. This work is dedicated to her mother Linda Nicholas (poet/painter) whom she lost suddenly at the beginning of the year.
