The Willow Tree at Bourn is proud to present Mat Jones?s sparkling one-man performance of Kenneth Grahame?s classic The Wind in the Willows. Join us in the garden beneath the boughs of our Willow for some summer sunshine, seasonal refreshment the quintessential tale from the riverbank. Mat?s sensational single-handed storytelling makes the original 1908 text leap from the book to the stage, bringing to life the timeless characters of Mole, Ratty and Badger as they follow the irrepressible Toad on his hapless misadventures. Indulge in the tale afresh, straight from the author?s own words, as you?ve never heard it before!
Suitable for kids and big kids alike, Mat?s performances regularly rekindle fondness for the tale in those that grew up with it, as well as inspiring new viewers with its nonsense.
The garden bar will be open for food and drink service.
