Description

Delighted to be bringing Supermilk back to town! They were last here on tour with Fortitude Valley, and now have a new album and a new member in the bag!

Formerly the solo project of ex-Doe drummer Jake Popyura, SUPERMILK have made a name for themselves within UK DIY for their prolific output, tight live shows and uncompromising mix of angular post-punk and fuzzy indie rock. After two years as a full band?featuring guitarist/vocalist Em Foster (Nervus), drummer Jason Cavalier (Honey Joy, Onsind), and newest recruit Charlie Jamison (Nathy SG)?SUPERMILK are now gearing up to release their third full-length LP, due in August 2024 via Specialist Subject Records. The last two years have seen the band playing for audiences far and wide, including stints with Cheekface, Speedy Ortiz, Martha, Lande Hekt and as tour support for US Emo stalwarts Algernon Cadwallader.

FFO: XTC, Guided by Voices, Superchunk, Weezer, Speedy Ortiz, Mary Timony, Devo

FYI - this show is all ages (with under 14s accompanied by an adult) and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
