Description

John Otway is an English singer-songwriter who has built a cult audience through extensive touring. Otway initially received some coverage on the back of punk rock and a performance on The Old Grey Whistle Test.
His sixth single, the half-spoken love song ?Really Free? reached number 27 in the UK Singles Chart in 1977. Otway has consistently toured throughout the decades, growing a reputation as both an eccentric live performer and one of the hardest working touring musicians on the circuit.
On 2 April 2022, Otway played his 5,000th career gig, which, as a milestone event, was held at the O2 Shepherd?s Bush Empire.
This show will feature performances of many of his popular songs from his career, played with the full Otway Big Band.

Description

A very iconic Derby public house famed for its range of real ales.

It is also one of Derby's few live music venues.

The building consists of a front room with bar and seating continuing round into the rest of the bar area. There is also a small comfortable seating area in the back bar area with a viewing panel of the pubs stillage.

Free acoustic sessions: Monday 8pm, Wednesday 9pm and Sunday 4pm to 7pm.

Nepalese cuisine 7pm to 9pm every Tuesday.
