WEAPON EYES
Unremittingly harsh electronica carved from modular synths, with tinges of power-electronics and an unabashed disdain for listener comfort.
HYWEL JONES originally hailing from Swansea, South Wales, Hywel studied music at Goldsmiths University where he graduated in 2013.
He has played Trombone and Euphonium in a wide range of styles and with ensembles including free improvisation group The Apocalypse Jazz Unit and rapper WONDRWOMN. He is also interested in composition and is currently working on his own project with various friends/musical collaborators. Since graduating, he has mostly worked as a music teacher (teaching everything from babies and toddler music classes through to adult learners) and currently teaches Brass in West London.
RICK JENSEN is originally from New Zealand and has been in the UK since 2006, he is a prolific musician, photographer, writer and promoter. Mostly known as a saxophone player (Apocalypse Jazz Unit, Jonny Halifax Invocation, The Romance of Baba Loco, The Rick Jensen Trio, Nuha Ruby Ra and much more) he also performs electro-acoustic music (The Oneriologist, Nova Scotia) and guitar (Animals From Hell, FAT COP) as well as many ad hoc improvisations. Rick was the founder and promoter of the long running SKRONK series putting on 250 events over and 8 year period. He has performed live hundreds of times and has appeared on around 400 releases of his own projects and for various other acts. Ricks style has encompassed many forms of music in jazz/improv, noise, and various forms of Rock and other music
RAXIL4 is multi disciplinary sound artist Andrew Page, specialising in analogue electronic dronescapes, acoustic audio phenomenon and installation. He has performed live all over Europe, many of his performances have been in non traditional venues, often choosing to play spaces with character and interesting acoustic qualities, such as caves, churches, crypts, prison cells, psychiatric hospitals & water towers. He has also performed live and installed durational works in galleries such as Tate Modern (London), The Barbican (London), The Arnolfini (Bristol), M-HKA (Antwerp), Sonnestube (Lugano), Soundfjord (London) & GV Art (London). Some of his generative pieces have been discussed in classes on composition within the Royal Academy of Music. The first 400 releases of his back catalogue now reside within the British Library Sound Archive.
Levente Dudas is the creative power of N|O|E|W|A Creative Music or N|O|E|W|A for short, which is his stagename, too. his manifesto is: finding the right combination of instruments and sounds is an art form in itself, and takes the same creative energy as choosing the right chords, creating a beautiful melody or writing engaging lyrics. Lev is a sonic adventurer, constantly seeking his unique voice, that particular sonic signature, through experimenting and learning and combining all sorts of instruments, devices and objects, while being aware of surrounding noise and world's soundscapes.
