He?s simply one of the best jazz musicians you?ll hear. Ruth is the genius multi-instrumentalist (on this occasion concentrating on keyboards) with the Hopkins Hammond Trio, Starlings, Jingu Bang and The Brass Junkies, as well as touring internationally with trip-hop band Morcheeba. For this rare duo outing, they?ll be performing ?ballads and standards?, the latter encompassing Jake?s delicious reworkings of tunes by Nick Drake, Tom Waits, and The Beatles, as well as the Great American Songbook.
